CASTLE wall

Substance Designer & Marmoset Toolbag

As part of my upcoming cathedral environment I created this castle wall texture to serve as a base.

The texture has multiple adjustable parameters allowing for customisation of the texture. I have provided examples of the pre-sets I created that show the range of textures you can get.

The texture is available here on the substance community library!

Castle Door

Substance Designer & Marmoset Toolbag

Another texture for the cathedral project. From the castle wall texture I created a castle door.

I created the shape of the door and added it to the heightmap of the door. This way I would be able to create a material with the same parameters and effects.

Rose Window

Substance Designer & Marmoset Toolbag

This texture was created as a practise piece in order to learn more about the shape creating nodes.

I anticipate creating a lot of windows for cathedral project. Due to the complexity of a stained glass window, I've decided that the best way to create one is to create the frame within substance designer and make the window separately in illustrator.

Mossy Stream

Substance Designer & Marmoset Toolbag

This mossy stream texture makes use of the tile sampler in order to scatter different shapes using various maps.

Using displacement, scale and mask maps creates a lot of variation across the texture.
